12th Annual Car Show

Well, there is a lot to say about the 2005 Old Orchard Beach 12th Annual Car Show! It was AWESOME! All in all, it was exciting and at the same time ... relaxing.
Friday night they lined all the cars up along Old Orchard St. (Main St.), it was fun to just hang out and meet new people. We had delicious meals (Lobster, Prime Rib & unbelievable omelettes) green iguanas, great cars, and met lots of people. I must say it was very nice to get a plaque for our club's participation from the show organizers.
The OOB Chamber of Commerce did a GREAT job running this event. The motel was nice, they even threw the guests a small party after the show. One thing I must mention, my gawd the showers! You almost needed handrails to keep you from being blasted out of the tub!
We had fun going to the arcade, playing miniature golf, sitting on the back porch relaxing/talking and planning next year's trip back. The best part of the weekend were the people. We just couldn't help but have fun together without even trying. To those of you who didn't make it ... we missed you all and we hope you can make it next year.
